Kustannusosakeyhtiö Gogam has opened the new eevenko.to online service. The site brings together rules and tools for the Eevenkoto campaign setting and roleplaying game as a digital companion designed for both session prep and use at the gaming table.
Published at Ropecon in July 2026, the Tervetuloa Eevenkotoon (Welcome to Eevenkoto) guidebook offered a first look at the ether-powered metropolis in its post-war era of joy. The new online service expands the book's contents into a digital rulebook while making the core rules of the Finnish 5.5e and Legendoja & lohikäärmeitä compatible Eevenkoto system freely available in SRD format.
Open SRD Foundation (CC-BY 4.0)
The site's condensed mechanical core, the Eevenkoto SRD (System Reference Document), is published under the open Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY 4.0) license to make creating Finnish tabletop RPG material on top of it as straightforward as possible.
The Eevenkoto SRD is based on Wizards of the Coast's System Reference Document 5.2.1 (2024) and SRD 5.1 alongside Myrrys's L&L SRD material. The rules can be browsed on the site immediately without logging in or registering, and the open license allows other creators to freely use, adapt, and publish the material in their own projects.
Open Development and Reader Tiers
Eevenkoto is written and developed openly. The service separates the concise mechanical SRD summary from the full worldbuilding text, and marks the readiness stage of each chapter (Valmis for completed sections or Vedos for beta drafts).
Without logging in, visitors have direct access to the entire open SRD rule base: ability scores, mechanical traits for cultures and species, character classes, feats, spells, and adversaries are all available for quick reference at the table.
Signing in with a free European Steady account unlocks all completed (Valmis) narrative and setting texts, examples, and flavor quotes. It also enables the Teksti / SRD toggle to switch between the full narrative text and the condensed rule summary, as well as the option to download completed chapters as clean Markdown files for tools like Obsidian, Notion, or print.
Confirming a free Steady newsletter subscription (Seuraaja) additionally grants access to beta playtest content (Vedos) and new rules in progress, both in the browser and in Markdown downloads.
A Companion at the Gaming Table
The site is built for practical use during play for both players and game masters. The sidebar quick search filters rules, spells, classes, and terms as you type, and inline rule references open a compact popover card on hover or tap. You can check the SRD summary of a condition, spell, or mechanic right inside the chapter without losing your place.
The service is continuously updated with new chapters, spells, and worldbuilding texts.
